Adelaide Trip - Day 7

It’s 9.30 and Olivia is finally just going to bed – I don’t know about anyone else who travels and camps but we are finding that we are having late dinners and getting to bed late as well (could be that we are still on Perth time – I’m not too sure – or could be that there is sooo much to explore and see that we just don’t have time for dinner) – anyhow – whatever it is we are having an awesome time – every day is filled with so many things to explore and see – at the moment we are going through some awesome grain and seafood country and stopping off at the coast most nights for cooler weather and getting to enjoy some yummy seafood – today we were spoilt again with some fresh oysters which we bought from a local supplier and then cooked them ourselves! We also bought some yummy smoked snapper!

Well here we are in Cowell – another cute fishing town on the coast! We are camped overlooking the beach enjoying the sound of waves and the peace and quiet! There is a beautiful sea breeze to keep us cool! It’s a little bit higher up then Port Lincoln so a bit warmer as well (last night it was freezing in Port Lincoln)!

Tomorrow we are heading up through Whyalla and then down again to Port Pirie – where we will set up camp for 2 days over Christmas before heading for the Barossa Valley and then onto Adelaide to meet up with Derry & Barb and the rest of the clan for New Years Eve!

I’ve been typing this blog every day and hopefully tomorrow I can get internet access to download it!

So till tomorrow......

Olivia with a feather she found!
A photo I had to take from Ryan - he is finding it very intereting that most boats in these towns are pulled by tractors - not by car...
 Olivia pinching Ryan's level...
 Our bed....
 Lunch time....
Daddy spoilt her and bought some more trucks - she loves them.....
 Play time with daddy.....
 The yummy oyster's kilpatrick.....
The remains....
