Adelaide Trip - Day 6

Well here we are in Port Lincoln (The Seafood Capital of Australia apparently – which Ryan thinks is fantastic – keeping my fingers crossed we might be able to go out for dinner tonight – wonder how hard I have to twist his arm – hmmmmm not too hard I don’t think lol)!

We have a site overlooking the beach – there is a sea breeze keeping us nice and cool - It’s 2pm – we have just had lunch and are now sitting back relaxing! Port Lincoln reminds me a lot of Albany (with a beach that looks just like Middleton Beach with the Pine Trees)! We are going to relax a bit and then go off exploring!

Ryan has to find a car wash so we can clean the front of the car and caravan some time today – we went through about 4 locust swarms between here and Streaky Bay (with some getting into the car as well – yuck)!

We stopped off at a well that was discovered by Mr Eyre many years ago just out of Streaky Bay so Ryan could fix some wheel bearings on the caravan and we could also have breakfast!

We explored the marina – wow never seen sooooo many fishing boats before – so impressive (Ryan’s words – he is going to buy a house here and become a fisherman lol) – neater, cleaner and way bigger than Fremantle!

Olivia is travelling quiet well – as we are travelling in the morning she seems to have her morning sleep and then an afternoon sleep in the afternoon as we are exploring the area!

Well I didn’t have to twist Ryan’s arm too hard - we just enjoyed a very yummy dinner of oysters (the best I’ve tasted), calamari, prawns and yummy steak at Del Giorno’s Seafood Restaurant – all the produce is local so nice and fresh! After dinner we went to the playground for Olivia and then went for a walk along the jetty – because South Australia has daylight saving – we are tending to stay up till late with Olivia – usually 9pm – as 9.30 it finally gets dark!

Olivia is finally in bed, Ryan is watching a DVD and I’m typing this blog – not too sure where we are going tomorrow – we will make up our minds then!

Olivia watching Ryan fix the wheel bearings of the caravan - she just has to watch and help with everything Ryan dose - these holidays have been awesome for her to bond with her daddy :)
 At the well....
 Olivia relaxing in the caravan...

Playing at the playground after dinner!
The famous Melbourne Cup Horse - Makebee Diva - apparently this is where his owners live....

I LOVED this place - wish we could have stayed here a bit longer....
