Today is mum’s birthday – so if you are reading this mum – Happy Birthday – wish we could be there to help you celebrate but we are on the other side of the country tonight!
We left Eucla nice and early this morning – as we knew that with the time change we would loose 2 ½ hours! 12km’s down the road we crossed the state border into South Australia! Between here and Ceduna there were plenty of places to stop along the coast and look at the beautiful cliffs! We stopped to have breakfast overlooking the ocean – and once again met up with Matt and Sandra Schoof!
We had lunch overlooking some of the cliffs!
We finally got to Ceduna and had to stop to declare our vege’s and fruit – we only had carrots and onions left – we could keep the carrots but had to get rid of the onions – this meant that we had to stop in at IGA to get more fruit and vege’s (oh and you have to pay for all plastic bags over here (like at Target) – but they are only 10c each so not too bad!
It’s 8.47pm – Olivia is still up (coz really for us it’s only 6.15pm and time for dinner (not bed))!
Well not much to add on here for the day – the pictures will tell a lot of the story etc!
