Another Beautiful Sunset - God's Beautiful Creation!

On Wednesday Night we had the most awesome sunset on a beautiful balmy night. I've taken some photos below (once again photos just don't do it any justice - I seriously need a new camera so I can capture some awesome moments). Then on Thursday morning we had a really beautiful rainbow on a rainy winters day! From one extreme to the next. But both looked so amazing I just had to take photos.

Both myself and Ryan took the day off work today (annual leave day). First thing in the morning we visited Jen and had a cuppa - It was great catching up other then through blogging or facebook. I picked up some stamp sets that Jen had for sale and Jen also gave me a nice early birthday pressie - A nice stamp set - Thanks heaps Jen!!!!

We then went to "Garden Week 2008" at Perry Lakes Stadium . We went because we wanted to get some ideas on a water feature for our backyard and we are also designing a new look for a front garden (native garden). We ended up buying some tulip and iris bulbs (which are now in my fridge - waiting to be planted in early May). We also bought an orange tree and two apple trees (apparently you need two so they can cross pollinate - if you only had one it wouldn't produce fruit - they were very informative)! I managed to get a free little garden shovel as well - lucky me. I'll post some photos of the fruit trees when we have them situated in our backyard.

Well hubby is out and about tonight with his brother Des - They decided to go prawning in Mandurah (the tides were right and we have had enough rain in the past week so that the prawns are running)- he just sent me a message to say he had about 40 prawns. Hope he gets a lot more! If the weather and the tides are good tomorrow we are going again tomorrow night - so that I can go as well this time. I'm busy getting ready for tomorrow morning - I have some girlfriends coming over for breakfast to help celebrate my birthday. Then on Sunday night I have my family coming over for my birthday. So I'm a busy girl this weekend.

Well I should continue to get ready for tomorrow so I'm signing off and hope you all have an awesome weekend!

Cheerio xoxo

PS. Hello Aunt Douwien - Great that you are enjoying reading my blog - It's the perfect way for me to let you my Uncle and Aunts know whats happening in my life!

Hiya Erica

Sorry I have been a bit slack in reading back all the comments on our blog and just saw yours about not really knowing who I am so I thought I better explain LOL.

Ryan used to work with Murray at Terpies and your sister Amanda was teacher at rockingham to my older boys ( just ask her and she'll show you her bald spot where she used to pull her hair out LOL )

Your Mum is now Liam's teacher in Byford.

Have a great week

Cheers, Connie
