Well for a long time now I've been wanting to sew a dress for Olivia - but never dared to attempt it - I honestly thought it would be too hard - I've never been interested in sewing (or very good at it - used to sew things inside out and back to front back at school lol)!
But I've been seeing all these gorgeous dresses on facebook and they are sooooo expensive - so I thought ok time to give it a go - and if it doesn't work out oh well - no loss really - no one will know anyways!
I don't know how to follow a pattern (really don't understand the 'sewing language' - so had to draw up a pattern for myself and follow some instructions on the internet (good old You Tube)!
Below is the finished result - I am soooo super proud of this dress and now can't wait to start making more (I've gotten over my jitters of not being able to sew anything) and am eagerly waiting till after our holidays to make some more dresses for Olivia!
