Well I thought it was about time I posted some photos of my tummy!! Kelly Monster is taking professional shots a couple weeks before I'm due - but thought I would take some now as well.
I'm now 31 weeks. Monday night I had a bit of a scare coz I was experience really bad pain in my lower back that would shoot through to the front under my tummy. It started when I got home from work at 2.30pm and by 6pm it was getting worse. When I rang the midwives they asked me if it felt like contractions (hellloooo ladies I've never had a baby so I really wouldn't know). They advised that I come in and see them. So Ryan took me to emergency (who sent me straight through to the midwives in a wheelchair (lol)). Of course once I get up there the pain all of a sudden stopped just like that (Typical hey - I've been in agony for a couple of hours and now when it counts it just stops - not that I was complaining coz it sure was painful). They still ended up putting me on a monitor to monitor the baby's heartbeat etc and make sure everything was ok. There suggestion was maybe the baby had finally turned around and was hitting a nerve making it really really painful. So I'm glad all is ok and the bonus was we got to listen to the baby's heartbeat for half an hour - so cute.
Photos below - I know I've put on weight (been a little bit naughty while pregnant - but hopefully as soon as baby is born I'll start being good again and eventually go back on the Cohen's Diet and finish it this time).

This weekend is the Australia Day long weekend. Not too sure what we are doing - boat is still being built - so no boating - boohoo. But might spend Monday relaxing and if I get a chance might even go to the fireworks in Armadale. I've never been so I guess here's a good opportunity to go and watch them instead of at Perth foreshore.
As I'm sitting here typing baby is kicking away - love those special moments. Can't wait to hold our little baby in 9 weeks time!!!

Great update Erica. The pics are so cute with that bump there. Babies like to give us little frights every now and again, just to keep mummy on her toes. So glad everything turned out fine. And how lucky was I to bump into you at the fireworks?? Sorry to have scared ya :)
What a nice few pics of you, you look well and really excited. Glad all was ok after that pain and look forward with you to the news.
