Another week goes by......

Well another week has flown past again - it's been a great week - very busy weekend as well.

Friday night we went with Willie and Bron Eilander to Mandurah for dinner at a little Italian place (yummy food) and then went to the cinema to watch "Australia"! It was a really really great night - I was just a bit disappointed in the movie - didn't really like it (neither did Bron). Maybe I was expecting something totally different but can't say that its a favourite of mine. But hey the night was still great and great company.

On Saturday I went with Amanda to Steel Tree Restaurant in Baldivis for a Christmas Breakfast for the kids - we had Sheane and also Cheyenne and Sierra (Vanessa's two girls) there was face painting and jumpy castle and lots of things for the kids to do and keep them entertained. After breakfast we went back to Amanda's place and organised lunch for a couple of people that were going to watch Shenae's Christmas Dance. After lunch went to watch Shenae - she was super cute and sooooooo funny to watch - I think all the kids pretty much forgot the dance - it was funny as!!

You remember how I posted photos of our fruit trees?????? Remember how the green apple tree had 7 apples - the red apple tree had 2 apples and the peacharine had 2 peacharines - well how many do you think we have now?????? Hmmmmmmm well if you guessed 0 - you guessed correctly. Last Saturday morning we had a bit of sleep in and I remember saying to Ryan that it was amazing the dogs weren't winging and whining wanting to be fed. Well no wonder they were being sooooooooo quiet - they stripped most of the branches off the green apple trees including all the apples - the same with the red apple tree but not as much damage as the apples were lower down and the same with the peacharines. I was soooooooooooo close to taking them to the pound and telling them to find our dogs a new home - I've been looking forward to having the first fruits of our new trees for sooooo long now and then in one morning all gone - no more fruit - now we have to wait all the way to next year before we get any fruit again. Oh well I guess we learnt our lesson - we have to put up higher barriers and maybe the trees will have grown a bit taller by next year and the fruit will be a bit higher - I can only hope.

Man can you believe that the price of petrol has fallen - from a couple of weeks ago paying $1.50 to today where I paid 95.5 cents is such a big difference - lets hope the prices continue to drop and become more affordable. I do have to laugh coz I remember when they went up to 95 cents we were complaining how expensive petrol was and now we are saying how cheep it is.

My little munchkin to be born is still very very active and I can actually see it on my tummy when bubs is moving and kicking. The kicks are becoming stronger and Ryan definitely feels it now. I am now 24.4 weeks pregnant and went for another dr's appointment today. Bubs has a very strong fast heartbeat - just as it should be and everything seems to be going great - now just waiting till next week for the hospital appointment with the midwifes. Can't wait. Yesterday one of the guys that I work with (Daniel) brought me in a bag of baby clothes. His wife is pregnant and due a week after me and before they found out what they were having they bought clothes for both sexes - but now they know and I know and we are having the opposite so Candice gave me the clothes appropriate for my little bubs - thought that was really sweet and thoughtful of her!!

Well that's about if for my week - got another busy weekend planned - so will update again next week some time. Can someone tell me where summer has gone??????? Wot's with the cloudy rainy days we have been having - I don't ever remember summer being like this - I'm still hoping that the weather will warm up soon and that we can at least have a nice hot Christmas Day lol!!!

Cheerio xx
