Just quickly I'm opening this blog again to all readers for one week only. Well its early Friday morning - 5.30am and I'm sitting here thinking I should get ready for work but I wish that I could stay home - in a nice warm bed. It's going to be another freezing cold day and today I'm rugged up against the elements. I've got my ugg boots on - pulled out my gloves which I haven't worn for quite some time - got my jacket ready and hopefully I'll stay nice and warm today. Because of this energy crisis that we are having in WA as a result of the gas plant fire we only have the heaters on upstairs (for the bosses) at work. I work in a large open space with big windows and concrete floors, so it gets really really cold. Yesterday I was close to tears as I sat there at work because I was that cold. My toes were numb and my bosses just didn't care. They just wern't too concerned at all because there offices are nice and warm upstairs (hot air rises). It was actually quite disappointing that they showed no sympathy towards us few that work downstairs. Even the guys who normally are warm had to wear jumpers and jackets yesterday. Why don't bosses care - is that just the plight of us lowly workers to accept that we are worth nothing but getting the work done - or is that just my bosses??? Man does it sound like I'm having a winge? Well I need to get that off my chest coz it wasn't a very nice day yesterday - I was really upset about it all - so today my ugg boots are on my feet and hey I'm not too concerned about what they think about it - I think my health is more important then their insensitive attitudes towards their workers. You know what they keep on saying - "the factory is colder so don't complain". Well of course the factory is colder but hey those guys are busy working physically so of course they stay warm. We are sitting on our bums all day behind a computer so of course with no physical activity we are going to be colder.
Ok, I'm going to be late for work so I'm signing off.

You poor thing. I was freezing yesterday, and I was inside with the heater on. That's ridiculous that they say those things. You wear your uggboots girl, and jumpers and scarfs and beanies. Make a statement! With the rain we've had overnight, hopefully it's warmed things up some for you.
