Well, our wall is finally painted. Yep you guessed correct Chantelle - It's Red! It's coming up to winter so wanted to go with a nice warm colour! I'm happy with the result. We spent early yesterday morning putting the last coat on. Hubby was all forgiven - he caught 2 good sized pink snapper - he gave one away and the other we kept - so fresh fish again for a couple of days - yummy!

Don't you love the rain. It was another beautiful winter's day yesterday (well the morning anyways). Ryan decided to put top soil on one section of our backyard. It was raining most of the morning - but he wanted to get it done so it could get a good soaking without having to put the sprinklers on. So with all this rain and then sunshine it should grow nice and quickly.
Yesterday afternoon we went to Scarborough Beach to watch the Surf Lifesaving Championships. And no, I didn't go there to check out the good looking surf lifesavers - lol. I have no photos - I forgot to take my camera (usually I have it in my bag but my battery was on charge and I totally forgot it)! So no photos. The weather was perfect - luckily most of the rain had passed and we spent an enjoyable afternoon catching up with friends! They left last night to go back to South Australia!

Last night I got a phone call from my niece Shenae - she wanted to go Tenpin Bowling and she wanted her Uncle Ryan & Auntie Erica to come along as well - isn't she sweet - still at an age where it's not embarrassing to go out with your Uncle & Aunt. So off we went (myself & Ryan and Nigel, Amanda and Shenae) to play some tenpin bowling. I haven't played since i was a teenager. But it was good fun and I won the first game - yep I even beat Ryan & Nigel. Amanda won the second games - go the girls!!

After tenpin bowling we decided to go for a drive along the beach (taking the back roads home). The water was sooooo calm - the lights looked absolutely beautiful. I tried to take a photo but the photo doesn't do justice to how nice it really looked.

The wall looks great. I love red - it's such a warm colour. We have a red wall in our house but it's soon going to be removed - we've started renovating so I may be posting pics on my blog soon.
