Saturday 26 May 2012 was a very sad day in this household :(
Saturday 19 May 2012 we noticed Victa limping a bit but didn't think too much of it as he sometimes did so when the weather got colder - but as the week went on he slowly started getting worse and worse till finally he could barely walk and would always fall over - we knew somethine wasn't right so Ryan took him to the vet (I think deep down I knew we wouldn't see him again so I made sure I took photos of him with Olivia) :)
Well he didn't come home - the vet examined him and it turned out he had suffered a stroke which meant blood was no longer flowing to his legs - so the best thing to do was to put him to sleep with the "green dream" :)
Poor Skye has been moping a bit as she has lost her best buddy and seems so lost - she has been 'crying' most nights at the door so we have spoilt her a bit and let her come in the house for a bit on her mat and then when we go to bed she goes outside again :)

How sad!! my thoughts are with you! So hard when a beloved pet goes. We had tears and trauma when our 2 bunnies died. We had them for only a year. You might have to get a little friend for Skye!! :)
