To celebrate our 5th Wedding Anniversary we went away for 2 nights to Albany and stayed at the beautiful and romantic HideAway Haven!
We left Olivia in the capable handes of Amanda and Nigel and with a very eager little cousin Allira at 9.30am and left for Albany around 10ish - we arrived in Albany at HideAway Haven about 3ish and settled into our beautiful accommodation (photos will show you how gorgeous and romantic this place is)!
On recommendation from the owners (Maggie and Becky) we went to Lime 303 for dinner - beautiful restaurant, yummy yummy food and top class service made for a very relaxing and enjoyable night with just hubby and me (no Olivia to tell off, don't sit on the table, get back here, don't annoy the other people eating, get back here, sit still, eat your dinner, arggghhh she spilt her drink, ok give up lets go home - nope none of that at all lol)! I'm thinking we might have to do it a bit more often coz we both really enjoyed the time to ourselves!
We got back to HideAway Haven, filled up our wine glasses and went and had a dip in the jacuzzi - it was raining, it was cold, very very windy - but the jacuzzi was just sooooo nice and warm - ahhhhh time to relax!
Saturday morning we were woken up to a very yummy breakfast - which we ate while sitting out on our balcony - enjoying views of Oyster Harbour and surrounding farmland - listening to the birds chirping - not another sound at all - just pure relaxing!
After breakfast it was time to relax - we did a bit of shopping, before heading to the Dome for a light lunch (we were still a bit full from breakfast)! After lunch we went to a day spa where we both had massages and I had a fascial as well - got back home and really didn't feel like going out for dinner so we ordered in pizza (not the regular kind but yummy gormet kind) along with some BBQ Ribs - just topped the night off - once again sitting on our balcony all rugged up in trackys and ugg boots - just chilling!
Sunday morning we were once again woken up to a scrumptious breakfast - I had the sweet fondue and Ryan had the savoury fondue, along with yummy mango, yougurt and museli, plus a glass of champagne - our hosts outdid themselves the whole weekend and I know I will be coming back here again!
Photos show you a bit of what we experienced!
