Easter and Anzac Day happened to fall on the same weekend - so that meant an extra long 5 day weekend! We decided to go to Albany this year with Willie and Bron and kids and Derek and Shelley and kids and Malcolm and Chris - we had an awesome time away.
We left on Thursday afternoon about 1ish and arrived about 5ish - great time to set up and wait for the other's to arrive!
Friday was spent on the river (part of the caravan park) fishing and relaxing - Olivia thought this was awesome and got super excited every time one of us caught a fish - which was quite often!
Friday we (Me, Bron, Shelley and Bron's Mum) went to the Denmark Markets for the morning while the guys went out on the boat again! Had a BBQ at the river's edgeTwo awesome days with just beautiful weather!
Sunday was overcast and wet and windy - Church in the morning, then Bron's Mums place for coffee and cake, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt and then relaxing in the afternoon! We all bought roasts - so we had a big roast dinner with lamb, chicken and beef - I'm sure the whole caravan park could smell our roasts cooking and would have been very jealous!
Monday we went to Bornholm Beach and Shelley's Beach in an attempt to catch some Salmon - It was a miserable cold windy and wet day - we did have fun though all rugged up nice and warm! Got back to the caravan park and had nice hot showers followed by dinner and then a game of poker with wine and port - great way to finish off a nice long weekend!
Tuesday - Home Time

Looks like you had a fun weekend. Weather was pretty good most of the weekend. Kids, sand, water, camping ~ perfect combo!!
