Kalgoorlie....

We have arrived in Kalgoorlie!

Rain, rain and more rain – awesome thunderstorms – soooooo hot and muggy – but.........we have been for a swim in the pool and are now sitting in our air-conditioned caravan and chilling – listening to the rain on the roof and the awesome thunderstorm! Ahhhhhhh – I love this life......I’m really going to miss being on holidays and travelling in our caravan – we have had such an awesome time as family together – Olivia has thrived and has changed soooo much – God has indeed given us a wonderful time together as family and has protected us along the way and allowed us to see His awesome creation!

We left Ceduna nice and early on Tuesday morning (6am) and arrived in Madura around 12pm (we gained 1 hour and 15 minutes along the way)! Madura has a roadhouse and then some powered sites and some motel units at the back – so not much....but.......there was a swimming pool and seeing it was super muggy the swimming pool was awesome! We didn’t do much but relax as there was not much to see in Madura - but we stopped here as it was half way between Ceduna and Kalgoorlie – as Olivia doesn’t travel to well in the afternoons we tend to only travel in the mornings!

We left Madura this morning at 5am (Olivia woke us up at 4.30 – I think she is still on Adelaide time) – so we decided we may as well get up and travel nice and early! We gained 45 minutes today and arrived in Kalgoorlie at 12pm – we are now back to normal Perth time!

We have decided to stay here till Saturday and leave early Saturday morning to arrive home the Lord willing by lunch time! This will give us time to take a tour of the underground mine and check out the Mining Hall of Fame – where we can do gold panning (for Olivia) and lots of other things and a time to chill before we finish our holiday!

Olivia has started a new game in the car while travelling – she has to point out all the trucks and cars – all we hear is “car mummy”, “tuck mummy”, “tuck tuck” and this is yelled in excitement as well – and as we have been leaving early in the morning we have been seeing lots and lots of “tucks”!

Well no more posts until I get home now – the next couple of days are going to be spent relaxing! Till next time...

Olivia hugging her "Zue Zue Pets"!
Ryan took this photo - this is a very common sight along the Nullabor - he couldn't resist.....

Filling up somewhere along the way.....
 At Boarder Village!
Quarantine Checkpoint - had to throw away all our left over fruit and veges!

As soon as we stop for fuel Olivia alway finds the playground.....
Fueling up at Balladonia!

Don't you just love the family time you get to spend with each other when you travel - such a blessing!
