Ryan had last Monday off (with Tuesday being a public holiday for us - Australia Day) - so we decided to take our "new" caravan to Albany for the long weekend. We stayed at Middleton Beach Caravan Park - what a beautiful spot - we had a mixture of weather - beautiful warm, to thunderstorms and rain, to cold and windy - but we had a perfect holiday - just the 3 of us!!We did a bit of sightseeing - went to the old Whaling Station (Whale World) and spent a morning exploring, stopped at "The Gap" and the "Natural Bridge". We went to Frenchman's Bay for a picnic. We also spent a morning in Denmark - tasting Cheese and Wines, exploring the beautiful beaches along the way.
But the best part was we were set up in our "new caravan" - so lots of relaxing at the caravan park, swimming in the heated pool, relaxing in the spa, enjoying our caravan, walks along Middleton and Emu Point Beach, lots of drinking of Port and Cheese and Crackers and Dips (hmmmm meaning I put on a bit of weight - oops)!
Here are some photos of our holiday - already looking forward to the next long weekend (Labour Day and then Easter) - lots of caravaning and photos to come......

Ryan & Olivia at Frenchman's Bay!

Pelican at Emu Point Beach

I think this War Memorial is at Mt Clarence - brings back memories - I had a photo with my parent's at this Memorial when I was little!

At the top of Mt Clarence - Very windy day!

Old Whaling Station in Albany - Spent an entire morning here - so much to see - so much history - went on a guided tour as well!

On the Cheynes IV (I think) - one of the 3 whaling boats operating at the time!

Happily posing for the camera....

Our "new" caravan - set up at Middleton Beach Caravan Park - beautiful shady sights, heated swimming pool, spa, recreation room, movie theatre, close to Middleton Beach - perfect location for a weekend away with my two favourite people.......

Boohoo - ready to go home.....
Already looking forward to our next holiday........
