Our New Boat that Ryan Built!

Thought I would dedicate a blog to the boat that Ryan built It has taken him many months but it's finally starting to get there. It's had its first test runs and so far it's all good - runs great (we have been out prawning and squidding already - and with good results). All that needs doing now is carpet in the boat, some more seats, a bait board needs to be made and some finishing touches. Ryan is not going to paint it till we get back from Cape Leveque (seems pointless coz we don't have a cover for it yet and the road from Broome to Cape Leveque is very rough and gravelly and will cause lots of scratches on the paint work - so decided to wait till after our holiday)!
The Beginning!!Starting to resemble a boat! The Boat Trailer - The Beginning of it!The inside of the boat! The Control Box all finished!

Ready to go on its first test run!
Woohoo - Out on the beautiful blue ocean!! Runs like a dream!!
At Rockingham Boat Ramp!
Finally in the Water (It's not sinking so he must have done something right)!
Well that's it for now. I'll put more photos on this blog once it's totally finished. Think Ryan has done a fantastic job! Now can't wait to go up to Cape Leveque and start catching lots of Spanish Mackerel and Coral Trout.

A nice boat and sounds like a great holiday to look forward to. Always nice to escape our winter and head for the warm sun.
