Since Olivia's Baptism we have all been very very busy.

Monday 30th March myself & Olivia and Amanda & Shenae went to Harbour Town for the day. We took the train in - Olivia's first train trip (not that she really noticed at all lol). Lots and lots of shopping - especially at Pumpkin Patch.
Tuesday - Bron picked me up to do some shopping at Rockingham City! Great excuse to sit down and relax and also have a coffee and some morning tea at Jamaca Blue.
Wednesday I decided to go to work and take in cake for morning tea. It was great to catch up with my work mates and also say goodbye as I never had a chance to before I had Olivia. It felt a bit funny being at work knowing that I no longer had to be there and work. It's still taking some time to get used to even now - not that I would change a single thing - I'm really enjoying the mummy life!!
Thursday - I finally had a day to myself to relax and chill for a bit - just me and Olivia time together. Thursday night went to Des & Sonya's for dinner!!
Friday - Olivia went to her first birthday party - Heath's 4th Birthday (from Matt and Wilma). Friday night went to Willy and Bron's for a roast dinner - yummy!!!!
Saturday - spent the day at home. My sister Vanessa (with Cheyenne and Sierra) came for a visit - first time they got to see Olivia.
Sunday morning after church we went to Rockingham foreshore for Olivia's second birthday party (she is more popular then me I tell you). It was Jack's 1st Birthday (from Steve & Katherine). It was just a beautiful Sunday - perfect weather - relaxing at the beach.
The following week was a week of staying at home (I think I overdid it a bit the previous week and I was starting to feel a bit sore and tired).

Along came Good Friday. Went to Amanda's place and myself, Amanda and Vanessa decided to have a girly afternoon - footspas, pedicures, nail painting and wines. It was the day before my brother Des' wedding so nothing like pampering yourself getting ready for the big day.
While I was at Amanda's - got the exciting news that I had a new little nephew - Ethan Tyler Mckee - weighing in at 5.5pds (Joyce and Darren's 3rd son)!! As Joyce had to have an emergency c-section we couldn't go and see her that night (had to wait till Sunday afternoon before we could go see her and little Ethan).
Easter Saturday was the wedding of my brother Des to Sue-ellen Hidding. We had a beautiful day (the only thing missing of course was Joyce and Darren (and Connor, Jake & Ethan). The wedding was at 11am at Rockingham Free Reformed Church - followed by a light luncheon till 1.30pm. We then went off to have family photos at a park in Baldivis. Then home to try to relax before the dinner at night. Me & Ryan - Olivia, Vanessa & Ryan - Cheyenne, Amanda & Nigel - Shenae and Mum & Dad took a limo to the reception at night (Rydges Hotel - Perth). It was soooo much fun - lots of champagne and a beautiful limo with great company. We arrived at the Rydges at 6 for pre dinner drinks followed by a dinner and a great night with great company. 11.15pm the limo picked us up again to finally get home at about 12.30. (Also got the exciting news on Saturday morning that our friend's Dez and Sharon Heerema had a little boy - Adam Jesse - also a tiny little boy 4.9pds)!!

Easter Sunday was spent at Amanda and Nigel's for an Easter Egg Hunt. Church was cancelled in the afternoon due to a big fire - so we decided to go visit Joyce and little Ethan. Wow what a tiny little boy - we took a photo of Olivia next to him and you can see what a difference in size and realise how tiny he really is. Due to complications Joyce had to be rushed into theatre and be put totally under. Her placenta tore away from the uterus thus causing a blood clot and internal bleeding - which also caused her kidneys to fail. All praise goes to God who spared her's and Ethan's life and made all things well with them both.

Easter Monday was my 34th Birthday. Ryan took me and Olivia out for breakfast to Betty Blue's in Rockingham on the foreshore. We spent a beautiful morning together having breakfast then a nice walk along the foreshore and then some shopping. In the afternoon and at night I had my family over.
This past Monday myself and Amanda took the train to King Edward to visit Joyce again (Olivia's 2nd train trip). They were both doing great and were told they could go home that night. Monday night me and Ryan and Olivia went and visited Dez and Sharon (and little Adam) in hospital - wow he sure is tiny (just as small as Ethan). Such an amazing gift they also have received from the Lord. Dez is such a proud daddy and Sharon looks sooooo happy - I think it's great that we both had children (our first born's) around the same time (well a month apart exactly). God has truly blessed both of us with children.
So that's my life up to date again. Olivia has been such a wonderful beautiful baby - such a joy!! I love spending every moment of every day with her. She has been sleeping for 7hrs at night already (and last night she did 91/2 hrs). I think she has worked out her days and nights coz she is very alert and awake during the day.
