Update

Once again it's been too long since I've blogged.

Well life has been extremely busy - most weekends are booked full of things to do and places to go. There has been the Kelmscott Show and then the Baldivis Fair, there has been birthdays and baptism, friends over for coffee and BBQ's, then there has been a Stampin Up Club meeting, ultrasounds, dr's visit, physio visits and the list could go on and on and on...... But no excuse I need to keep blogging coz it's my diary of my life.

Two Saturdays ago we decided to verti mow the front and back lawn (Well Ryan did all the work - wow he worked so hard and I'm proud of him). Ryan hired a verti mower and spent Friday later afternoon/nite doing the front lawn. Saturday he did the back lawn. So at the moment our lawns look totally dead (with a hint of green again). Hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will start looking good again.

Before the lawn was verti mowed!

Ryan verti mowing - not much left to do!

Once verti mowed then you have to rake up all the lawn that has been dug up - now that was the hard part - but Ryan kept on going and going and going like an energizer bunny!!

Well spring is here - our fruit trees are bearing fruit - apples and peacharines so far - our peacharine tree developed leaf curl so we won't be getting much fruit off it this year - but our apple trees are going great and we hope to taste the first of our fruits not long now. We have also planted new things in our vege garden - corn (which is growing crazy), zucchini, beetroot, capsicum, watermelon and rockmelon, celery, carrots and more lettuce plants. So not long now before we can once again benefit from our vege patch.

Peacharines!

Apples!

Well I am now 20 weeks pregnant and feeling great (but tired). Last week I went for my 19 week scan which checked the entire anatomy of our baby and we got to find out the sex of our bub as well - WOW - it was amazing to see our little baby on the screen looking more like a baby this time. But our bubs was being a little cheeky and kept laying on its side and tummy so was hard to get some good photos. It is becoming more and more real that we are having a baby and as the days go by I'm getting more and more excited - I'm having lots of movement now as well which makes it so much more real. I've finally written up a whole list of things that we are going to have to buy for our new little bubs - wow there is soooooooo much we have to get - it being our first bub and all - panic panic panic. Today I went to the Dr's for my 20 week check up and got to hear the heartbeat once again (sooooo cute). I was registered with the hospital and am now waiting for a call from the midwifery section to go in and talk to them about everything I guess. It can all be sooooo daunting sometimes - it just seems that there is soooo much that needs to be done and organised all the time (and of course it's left to the poor female - guys would be totally lost if it was left up to them). I'm definitely showing a little bump now - but haven't taken any photos as yet - will wait a bit longer till I'm really showing.

Here is a photo of our precious little baby - 19 week scan!

Oh yeah I nearly forgot I also got a new car (well not new new) (photo below). It's a Toyota Camry Conquest and drives like a dream (well compared to my old green hyundai anything would be better). It fits a pram in the boot and a baby seat in the back so that was the main criteria of a new car.

Well that's it for now - its getting close to my bed time and I need to do some relaxing and might read a book! Cheerio and I'm going to try to tell myself I need to update at least once a week from now on!! xx
