Two more cards at last and LIFE!!

I don't know where I've found the time - but last night I managed to make 2 more cards. Photos below.

I have been playing around with my new camera and am still in awe of it and all that it can do. For example I took a photo of a candle at night with a normal camera and then with my new camera adjusting the aperture and shutter speed and ISO etc and look at the difference below. There is soooooo much to learn but as I've said before my friend at work is teaching me a lot and one of these days we are going to King's Park (along with another interested photographer) and taking some photos of the city and lights and cars etc - going with someone helps you learn a lot as well - practical instructions and doing it at the same time. Makes a lot of sense to me.

Well a couple of days ago we decided that we were getting sick of this freezing cold weather so we are off to Ningaloo in 3 and half weeks time (hope to meet up with Ryan's parents when we are up there). It's such a Swart's thing to do and they all do it once or twice a year and yet I've never ever been to Ningaloo - so perfect time to go I guess. We hope to leave on Thursday night after work - 14th August and come back home on Monday 25th August (from the 22nd to the 25th August we will be spending in Bindoon with my family - family weekend away to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary (man can't remember how many years at the moment). Looking forward to the family weekend - it's going to be heaps and heaps of fun - my parent's have chosen this gorgeous little place which is a bit like a hobby farm etc - so the kids are entertained and also there is a lake there - so the boys are entertained catching fish lol. And there are wineries so it keeps us girls entertained!!! So yep some holidays for us - soooooo looking forward to it and think of all the photos I can take.

Tomorrow (Friday) I have a wedding to attend - my good friend Anneke DeJonge is getting married to Malcolm! They are getting married at the Scots Presbyterian Church in Fremantle. Then a casual get together with friends around a bon fire at night - so her style and should be lots of fun. Looking forward to it and catching up with friends - hopefully I can get some photos of the happy couple.

Saturday we are going 4wd driving near Harvey Dam with Steve & Katherine - Can't wait - last time they all went I couldn't go as I had a b'day party to go to (which I couldn't miss out coz my little nephew would have been disappointed)! Anyways Steve & Katherine are awesome friends and share an interest in 4wd driving - so we have a lot of fun. Once again hope to take lots of photos and get some practice in with my camera.

Sunday we plan on going to my parent's place and I'm going to take some photos of my beautiful parents - I hope I can get some nice shots of them. Their last together photo was taken 5 years ago on the last major wedding anniversary! So a new one is definitely a must!

You notice I don't have to work tomorrow coz I can now spend some time behind the computer tonight without worrying about getting to bed on time coz I have to get up at 5.30am - yipes don't know how I do it some mornings especially being winter and all - this old body can't take it for much longer......LOL!

Well Ryan has come home finally - it's 8.30pm. He has bought a new programme for the computer and asked me to download it - so better do that I guess.

Till next time xx

Gorgeous cards, so nice to see you enjoy your SU products.
Your camera sounds just great - I bet you are having so much fun with it. Have fun being the photographer.
Probably good you don't have to work tommorow with this very chilly weather - enjoy a warm sleep in. Take care
