Naughty Victa......

Well this morning as I do every morning I decided to go outside and water the garden, check the vege plants etc. So there I am walking along inspecting all the vege plants and I get to the Lettuce Plants - actually I mean what lettuce plants, yep that's right there are no more lettuce plants - they have been destroyed, eaten, annihilated. The culprit is: our dog Victa - yep that's right our "sweet lovable" dog decided to jump over the fence we put up to keep the dogs out last night and obviously we didn't give him enough dinner coz he ate all 6 lettuce plants (I'm crying - they were just about ready to be picked - and now we can start from scratch all over again - boohoo). And the only reason we know it's him is because he is smart enough to jump over one way (he has the wall as leverage) but he couldn't figure out how to get back - funny dog. So tonight hubby came home and put up a temporary bigger fence (hopefully this keeps him out - fingers crossed) until he can make a permanent fence!

It's my sisters 10th Wedding Anniversary this coming Friday so I decided to make a card (perfect excuse). I received my new "Garden Whimsy" Stamp Set from Stampin Up on Saturday. I've fallen in love with this set - It's sooooooo cute and I've got so many ideas of different cards I'm going to make.

Well I've got to go and do some packing etc for Three Springs this weekend (I've got no time tomorrow night coz I have to go grocery shopping and make some easy ready to heat up meals for the weekend). Once again it's going to be a challenge to keep to our lifestyle change. They have yummy pub meals up there and then on Saturday for the golf tournament there will be soup for lunch and a sausage sizzle at night. Lunch I can handle but its going to be the sausage sizzle that's going to be hard. Hopefully they will have meat there as well and we have all been asked to take a salad along to share (so that makes the salad part easy). We have been told by Cohen's Lifestyle Centre that there will be situations in which we won't be able to 100% stick to the diet - and if we are put in such a situation we have to try our hardest to pick the healthier option. Either way I know I'm not going to be bad - coz I am 100% determined to loose this weight - nothing is going to stop me.......

Well, Good Night fellow bloggers and will chat to you another time. If I get time tomorrow morning I will take a photo of my lettuce plants (or what's left of them).

Bye xx

awww Erica! how sad about the lettuces. dogs can be very naughty sometimes, just like our kids. i remember our dog used to always take my stockings off the line. he would never touch andrew's clothes, just mine. grrr. thankfully he grew out of that though.
have a lovely weekend. i'm sure you will do well to keep on track because you are so determined. have fun and make sure you take pictures!!
